Here is the Base Map I developed of my home. I'm especially proud of the realistic sketchup model that I created.

In this slideshow, you'll see numerous photographs of the Student Sustainable Farm on campus. The farm presented an approach to organic farming. However, there was a lot of unused space left open that served little value other than occasional parking.

We traveled around Urbana looking at different homes and evaluating them for multifunctionality. The two homes we looked were fairly multifunctional and it was interesting to look at the unconventional designs. The structures in the community gardens were fairly multifunctional as many of them were made out of reused materials.

The Urbana Landscape Recycling Center was pretty interesting. It takes all the leaves and other landscape extras and composts them. This keeps a lot of waste out of landfills and allows the return of nutrients back into local soils when customers buy the products. One of the few downsides is that the machinery uses a lot of gasoline and is pretty expensive to run.
